The International Seminar was held in St. Petersburg State University in 2004 with an assistance of the Russian Association for Sandplay Therapy (RAST). It was chaired by Orla Crowly, a European-registered psychotherapist and a Registered Jungian Analyst. Seminar was opened by Dr. June Atherton.
Professionals from Russia, Ireland, Baltic states presented papers and case studies. Among the speakers were Dr. Sergey Zelinsky (Russia), Vera Batna (Latvia), Padraic Dolan (Ireland).
It was at the seminar concerned the coordination meeting of IJSTA’s members delegated the coordinated centre power to the Russian branch. Since that time the International Executive Committee has been working in Russia.
